Apartment prices are rising at a faster rate than house prices in almost two-thirds of all suburbs nationwide, fuelled by demand from buyers locked out of the freestanding house market, data from CoreLogic shows.
Sydney-based first home buyer Damian Power is among those who have opted to buy an apartment due to worsening affordability in the house market.
