Another tepid set of GDP numbers will inevitably turn up the pressure on the Albanese government, just months out from the federal election.

We already have sticky inflation that will keep the RBA on the sidelines while the rest of the world cuts interest rates. Now sluggish economic growth, most of which is being driven by government spending as private sector investment goes nowhere, has been reconfirmed.
