Carlyle in exclusive talks to buy Livingbridge’s Waste Services Group
The Carlyle Group has secured exclusivity over Livingbridge’s billion-dollar waste advisory and collections business, Waste Services Group, at a sale price of around 13 times 2025 financial year earnings, sources said on Tuesday.
After a hotly contested auction that saw Carlyle duke it out with Sydney buyout firm Pacific Equity Partners and Hong Kong-based real estate and private equity firm Gaw Capital Partners, the American buyout firm has been anointed preferred buyer.
