The best beachside suburbs to grab a bargain before the year ends

Home buyers who can qualify for a mortgage could snatch as much as an 11 per cent discount – equating to about $200,000 – on waterfront homes in some of the country’s most desirable coastal suburbs, CoreLogic data shows.
Bargains are emerging amid an influx of listings and weaker demand, many buyers struggle with affordability and limited borrowing capacity, which has knocked house prices lower in this segment of the market.
