The world had its three hours of madness early last Friday evening after a simple code bug hit cities worldwide, sparking a rolling global IT breakdown industry veterans say has been waiting to happen for more than 20 years.
For a while, it was unclear when the digital dominoes would stop falling and if the outage was but a passing cyber storm or something far more malicious.
