It’s not true that the founder and inventor of the Segway self-balancing scooter, Dean Kamen, fell to his death after accidentally driving his Segway off a footpath and over a cliff while making room for someone walking their dog on the same footpath.

That’s just an urban myth. The inventor of the Segway, at the time of writing, is very much alive.
