Investors taper Trump trades amid late momentum for Harris

Investors are tapering their bets on Donald Trump’s return to the White House after polling suggested that Vice President Kamala Harris is making up some lost ground, unwinding some of their trades for a Republican win.
The greenback slipped to a two-week low in US trading on Monday as the yield on 10-year Treasuries dropped as much as 12 basis points to 4.26 per cent. Meanwhile, bitcoin, which has climbed on Trump’s support of cryptocurrencies, fell more than 2 per cent.
