Fonterra targets South-East Asia, keeps Aussie dairy arm for now

Fonterra, the world’s largest dairy exporter, has set its sights on South-East Asia as the next major growth market outside China, citing the region’s burgeoning cafe and bakery scene as one of the reasons.
Unveiling its refreshed corporate strategy on Monday, the group said South-East Asian consumers had branched out beyond pizza and pasta dishes, meaning more than mozzarella is on the menu.
