Dutton walks back migration target until after election

The Coalition has walked back on strict net migration targets that would have cut student and temporary migration to a trickle if it wins the next federal election.
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton told Sky News on Sunday that net migration targets would not be set until after the election, which must be held on or before May 17.
