The brother of embattled Mineral Resources chief Chris Ellison has survived his own feisty shareholder meeting after investors in his company Resource Development Group accused him of mismanaging its flagship mining project.

RDG managing director Andrew Ellison also came under fire over how the small-cap miner and mining services contractor could afford to start repayments next year on a $125 million interest-free loan from its parent company.
